There are 42 different “starting points”, that include not just your ending but the relationships you had with different characters and the style of player you are. Inside of Season Three, there is a “story generator” option where we’ll ask you a series of questions that help us hone in on your Clementine.

If you’ve never played a previous season of The Walking Dead, or don’t have access to your Season Two save file, A New Frontier will have a Story Generator option where you can start off at 42 different points, depending on how you answer some questions: When you launch Season Three, you’ll be able to login to your Telltale Account and download the Cloud Save, then you’re good to go!

You’ll need to update your app, launch Season Two, create a Telltale Account (if you don’t already have one) and then enable Cloud Saves and upload your Season Two save. We’ve updated Season Two (on all platforms) to include Telltale Cloud Saves. Then we’ve done our best to help you out.
If you want to play on a new device, and still have your old device and old Season Two saves. If you have a Season Two save file on an older device (such as a PlayStation 3) and want to import it to a newer device (such as a PlayStation 4), you’ll need to have access to your older device: When you start Season Three, you’ll be prompted if you’d like to import your Season Two save. If you’re playing on the same device, and you still have your old Season Two save, you can import them directly. The Season Pass Disc will then be available in February 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One.Īs Exophase reveals, A New Frontier includes a Platinum Trophy on PS4, and it’s unlocked after finishing the season.Starting with those who have a Season Two save file, importing your save file on the same device will be as simple as pushing a button: The Walking Dead: A New Frontier premieres on December 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices with two episodes. You’ll then need to answer some questions to determine how Season Two ended for you. If you no longer have access to your previous save file, but want your choices implemented in the new season, select Episodes on the main menu of A New Frontier, then hit Continue Your Story, followed by Recreate.

You will also need a Telltale account to complete this process, which can be created for FREE at anytime by going to Telltale adds that the PlayStation Vita versions of The Walking Dead don’t support the save import feature. The Walking Dead – Season Two save you wish to use must be a complete season save to import to The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.
Once your game is patched, you will see a new option to Upload your existing save on the in-game ‘Save Files’ menu. Your device will need to be online in order to download the latest patch.
